If you have been waiting on bated breath for info related to iPhone 5 release, a website might have a clue to offer. According to KnowYourMobile.com, Apple is planning to announce details related to iPhone 5 on August 7.
Adding fuel to already lit fire about iPhone 5 release, a Chinese retail website further recently claimed that they have begun accepting preorders for the popularly dubbed iPhone 5. According to the source, Apple will make a keynote speech on August 7 to unveil the much-anticipated device.
The report may turn out to be true. As of late iPhone 4S sales is in a decline mode due to the launch of Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One series handsets. In fact several data hungry consumers are looking for beefed up smartphone to catch up with their fast moving lifestyle. Samsung and HTC has delivered the big screen devices at the right time.
Apple which shipped close to 30 million iPhone 4S handsets may have sold out the entire stock by now. Hence that may have laid out the platform for Apple to bring in their next generation iPhone to the market by August.
However, it may also turn out be a hoax. Considering the fact that Apple firstly introduced the mobile iOS 5 operating system in June last year, Apple went on to launch iPhone 4S in October. Apple capitalized on the opportunity of holiday season sales and carriers were short of stock due to the number of preorders they took in. Keeping in mind that Apple almost follows up their yearly cycle in terms of announcing or launching the operating system and its devices, it is possible that the Cupertino giant may bring out the iPhone 5 in October.
