How to create a blog? Blogger.com provides a platform for you to create your own blog which is a cheap and cost efficient way to create a blog. Blogger.com belongs to Google.

 Let us see each step which follows through while creating a blog in Blogger.com.

 Firstly, what is blogger.com?

 Blogger.com is a website which will allow you to host your own blog and will help you to post your contents on a web page where you can have you own web address for Example, http://myname.blogspot.com. In space were “myname” is displayed in the url given, you can have your own url title. Choose a name for your web address and you go about in making your own website blog.

 When you enter the site Blogger.com, what is the next step you need to take? If you go to web page as you scroll down, you will find “Create your blog now” option. As you click that option, you will be guided to a new page were the first steps towards making a Google account beings with option called “Create a Google Account.”  So please fill in the fields given below the option such as Email address, Enter a password, retype password, display name and word verification, as it is given in the page. Please tick the “I accept the Terms of Service” and press option called “Continue”.

Next, you will find option called “Name your blog”, were Blog title, Blog address and if you want to host advanced setup or not will be enquired. So please fill in those fields with appropriate names required for the contents you want to place in your blog and then press option called “Continue”.

 
After that, you can choose templates of your choice in the templates provided by blogger.com, and then press the option called “Continue.”

After you’ve chosen a template, you’ll see that your blog has been created and that there is a button to “Start Posting”.  Click that button.

You’ll be taken to a page that is similar to the posting page at a message board. There is a “Title” field, where you can put in the title of this particular blog posting. Then there is a bigger field, which is the body of your post. Type all you want in this “Body” field, as there is no limit. 

Note that there are options above the field to bold, italicize, underline or spell check the text. There is also the option of changing the size and color of the text, plus the ability to add bullet points, numbered lists and even pictures. For now, you’ll just do a simple “Welcome” post.

In the “Title” field, type “Welcome!” In the “Body” field, type your message. You could start with a simple introduction, talking about yourself and the purpose of the blog. When you’re done typing the message, click the “Publish” button. It is worth noting that you can choose to save the post as a draft, if you want to go back and later finish the post.

After you’ve clicked “Publish”, you’ll see that your blog has been published successfully. Click the “View Blog” link to view the results of your work. You’ll now see your post.

Here you go! Your blog has been created. From there on you can add your posts and do the required changes to your blogging website.
