Yamaha Electronics introduced their new PDX-60 wireless iPhone/iPod dock which gets the company’s proprietary yAired technology.

What’s the use of yAired technology?

The newly added yAired technology allows users to share their favorite music, video and games to others through a wireless transmitter that connects to the protable devices and sends superior uncompressed audio content across the room for high-fidelity playback on the dock’s speakers. Also it offers key advantages over Bluetooth, including superior sound quality via uncompressed linear PCM audio transmission and no audio delay issues when watching video or playing games.

Yamaha’s new system adds remote control capability to iPhones and iPods so users can control the playback directly.

You can get the Dock in Black, Blue, Gray and Pink colors.

There is an built-in digital amplifier and two large 3.25 inch speakers for the dock. And the device is compatible with iPhone 3G/3GS, iPhone, iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano and iPod.
