Christians and the very word Christianity, seems degrading in many western countries, specially the UK and USA, which was found and based on Christian values and ethics. A foundation on the word of God, the Bible.
Although today many in America seem to be Christians, not all are really following the Bible or the true worshipers of God. Many of them are called Mathew, Mark, Williams, all Christian names, but rarely seen the Christian nature. They have transformed to become infidels.
Well may be it is contrary to what I am saying, but analysts apparently see that Christianity is deteriorating. By 2030 only 30% of Christians in USA will be church goers, they claim.
Blame whom?
The rising power of technology?
Modernisation?
Islamisation?
Non-Christian religions?
or whatever.
Its time the Christian nations who sponsored and dispatched missionaries to countries emphasizing the spread of good news, look back and see the abundance of fruits bore in Asian countries like the Korea, Philippines and others that have seen huge developments by the Christianisation.
India is one among the countries, the foreign missionaries aimed and spread the good news fervently. The British, is still blamed and accused for its bloody rule in India, known for its wealth munching characteristics. May be in a way the greediness for wealth, is one of the reason for their poor rule in India. But again, their contributions too, is worth an applaud. Education rose to the peak. English became a prominent language. People became more intelligent. Educational institutions brought in……goes on….I cant enumerate them completely.
Surprisingly, even now in India, the schools and the colleges, which steers to victory and power is the Christian based or tag the missionary made. Booming IT, BPO call centers, Engineers, Scientists, Researches, are the best in India. I think the credit goes to the missionaries who toiled day and night for the country and its men.
Missionaries, are considered to be bad in character, drastically radical, and ……..but what we fail to realise is that, more than conversions, its their heart of transforming lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Its their desire to change lives and see them out of their blindness. Jesus dint demand missionaries to force conversion. He only wanted the good news to spread all over the world and see the earth changed. He dint want to ruin our lives and westernise us…rather he wanted us to know the meaning of the cross and the love of God revealed through his only son Jesus Christ.
Surprisingly the very countries who sponsored and dispatched missionaries are today facing a dilemma. Missionaries and Priests from various parts of India like the Mizoram and other Asian countries are invited to the UK and USA, to fill the resigned positions and to shepherd the people. AH! What a sad image?
Its time to blow the trumpets, shout to Zion, and rise high. Time for Christians to take action, be more effective. Time to harvest.
I would like to encourage people, to look at the start of Christianity and the struggle of Christians, to spread the good news. Deaths, beatings, imprisonment were adjoined with the Christians from the very start of Christian History. Why should this sacrifice, love and faith of them, end very futile?
The 100 Most Important Events in Christian History, an inspiring book that has emphasized on the start and struggle of Christianity, will be published as a series of articles in the website. Do check them, and be blessed.
Would encourage all to share your comments on the solution and need of the hour, as Christians.

But dude, you forgot to mention various other factors determined and involved in the degrading.

people have become self centered. some think Christianity is the most difficult religion to follow. some think they should enjoy all the pleasures in the world. they are not willing to sacrifice anything for god
