Aloha!
I was born in India, and so it is, I love this country, and I have no shame to be tagd a INDIAN!
Its disgusting when people born and brought up here…soar skies and start blogging on the same country, writing all barbaric, sordid, ribaldry comments, specially about the streets, food, people..etc etc..
I remember someone saying, India is like India, cuz Indians made India. Its true. No one can be blamed..not politicans, not the government…nor Laloo Prasad ji. Its like this, cuz of you and me. It is our responsibility, to keep this city clean and be proud of it. Nothing to rue about..nothing to complain..its all what we have made..what we have developed…so you and me..are both mutually responsible for this condition.
Have you read of those American or Italian bloggers, who come to India..and start complaining…aw!! dirty…pathetic!! etc etc…I would just hate to read these stuffs in their blogs…Indians are smart, witty, intelligent, and yes handsome too…so let us not give a chance for people to talk about us like this..
IF westerners think they have the best universities, education, etc etc..and thats why they are like this..Indians..like me, have something more to boast..((India had one of the first universities in the world. NALANDA UNIVERSITY:It has been called “one of the first great universities in recorded history which had over 10,000 students and 2,000 teachers))
So cmon …the young cream of India..has something big to do..and to show!!
I think, it is time..for us to make our country clean…a neat India, a shining India..No Singapore..No Malaysia..truly Indian..we dont need sky scrappers or do we need American trained government workers, to make India shining…If each one of us..take the responsibility..of atleast maintaining our streets clean..from not littering..would make this air clean…and country clean..
Lol..isnt it funny…when Indians fly abroad..and they know the rules of the country they live..and never litter anything on the streets there..the same people come to India..and feel free to litter anything anywhere..
It is time..to be responsible for making India like this..
I have decided to stop littering and be responsible for my nation
.. so let us all be liable, amenable and sensible to the nation’s plea’s

Hey at last i found an useful article on anti-littering.First of all hats off to you for your valuble thoughts.Me too a person always love to have our country clean and neat.It started when i was in tenth class watching discovery and NGC channels in TV.Even i’m following now a days not to litter this country and i insist my friends and relatives too to follow tha same. When i used to travel i found it is very difficult to throw the litters in dustbins cos there is none of them available for easy access. So i keep the litter in a plastic bags for throwing it later. But if it is a waste of a food items then how can we keep it with us? espacially in trains .Few compartments are with dustbins .not all of em.So we have to blame the responsible departments of the indian gov for not supporting even non littering people.share your views………A dream of clean india is not so far…if we thinks as an individual.
