“Coke Zero Facial Profiler” App Matches Your Face With Others On Facebook

Posted on 04 December 2009

Facial-Matching Facebook application launched by Coca-Cola, as “Coke Zero Facial Profiler”, helps you match your face with other users.

If you just have 3 photos of your’s attached in your profile, then the application searches across other pictures from Facebook users that have used the app to find someone whose face matches theirs most accurately.

Once you add the app to your profile, you can direct it to find pictures in your profile. Select the picture you want to use, and the app will ask you to drag your image to match the shadowed outline of a head.

Once you find your match, depending on the percent matched, it will give out the information (eg: saying 60% matched). Then the app also gives you and option of connecting with the person you where matched to.

According to the website: “Coke Zero Facial Profilerdoesn’t decide how many friends you’re allowed to invite. The number of “daily invite requests” is controlled by Facebook, based on multiple factors they measure internally. To send the app to more people, you can always copy and paste http://www.facialprofiler.com into a group message to Facebook friends, Twitter followers or blog fans.”
