Corel Digital Studio 2010 is a bundle of four video and photo editing applications – DVD Factory. PainShop Photo, VideoStudio and WinDVD. It scans the local drive for media on the first launcha nifty little application called Corel Digital Studio Gadget lets you launch all applications.
The applications are easy to use, even for novices, and the interfaces are all very similar. PainShop Photo takes care of all your image touch-up needs.
Video editing and creating DVDs is simple, and WinDVD includes features like Time Stretch which lets you adjust the video length easily. You can watch videos at half or double-speed without distorting the audio. All the common video, audio and picture formats are supported. You need to install an add-on pack to work on Blu-ray and HD DVD content.
You can import media directly cameras or mobiles, and after editing, upload them to YouTube, Facebook and Flickr, or even email them to a friend.
Our verdict? Its low price makes it a good buy for those who need to do basic editing, and keep their media files organised. It can’t be compared to an advanced media editing software.
