“Download Mover”– A Program Which Re-Organizes Your Drive

Posted on 29 November 2008

Here is “Download Mover”– a small program to check one or more directories in regular intervals for new files and move these files to another location.

You can specify multiple folders to watch and specify different targets for each file type you add. I often forget to change my Firefox download preferences to save things in my d:\downloads folder. Setting Download Mover to scrape .exe and .zip files into the proper directory keeps my desktop nice and tidy with no interference.

Here is a text below which was found in the archive in there installation instruction given in zip format:

After configuration, all you need to do is start the program. it will then check your download folder at the configured interval and move files if necessary. To show the configuration window, doubleclick on the tray icon or select show main window in the tray icon’s popup menu. Single click on the tray icon will disable download mover, click again to enable it (red icon = disabled, green icon = enabled). All other things should be self-explanatory.
