Firefox Tricks and Tips on How to open Foreground Tab

Here is a simple tip to open a link in a new foreground tab.

Usually everyone of us know how to middle click or Control-Click in Firefox to open a link in a new background tab.

If you hold down the Shift key while middle-clicking to open the link in a new tab and switch to it at the same time——— What happens? Read Below:

“It is common knowledge that middle-clicking on a link opens it in a new background tab, but pressing shift while middle-clicking opens it in a new foreground tab. This especially comes in handy when you’ve got dozens of tabs open and don’t want to shuffle through all your tabs to find the one you just opened.”, said Raghav.
