Small wonder
The Gigabyte Monitor Integrated Box T3140 is a small form factor system with a black bodied chassis. It has a faciliy to attach a monitor on the chassis. This helps in saving space for an external monitor stand. The chassis is made of strong metal and the build is quite sturdy. The glossy front panel has the power button alongwith the two USB ports and the speaker and microphone jacks.
On opening the chassis with the help of thumb screws on the rear end, we notice that it is neatly compartmentalized for optimum usage of space. There is a 160W Gigabyte power supply for the entire cabinet on the left hand side and space for a Mini-ITX Motherboard on the right. Heatsink has to be chosen keeping the limited height of the chassis in mind. A 6 cm fan is located on the right hand side with space for a slim ODD and a 3.5-inch HDD.
The monitor stand can be set up on top of the chassis which has two grooves for the stand. It is screwed from behind to provide additional stability to the stand. There is a hinge lock system to raise the stand. It is done by applying pressure on the stand and then moving the lock according to the direction indicated on it. Once the stand is upright, the VESA standard slot can be inserted into the upper most projection of the stand to which and LCD monitor can be attached with the help of four screws.
This is an ideal product for small offices where space is at a premium. At Rs. 3,999 plus taxes, it is a decent buy.
