Gmail for Mobile 2.0- Access Offline.

On Thursday, Gmail for mobile version 2.0 for J2ME-supported and BlackBerry phones were Introduced.
The main focus on this version is to make the experience faster and more reliable. Also the entire client was rearchitected to push all the processing to the background, greatly improving the client-side caching scheme and optimize every bottleneck piece of codes.

What have this new introduction produced?

  • Overall Performance improvement.
  • Multiple accounts management.
  • Multiple mobile email drafts.
  • Powerful shortcut keys.
  • Basic offline support.

Also, Gmail for mobile 2.0 is available in over 35 languages now. Please note, though, that not all features are available for all phones.
