K.P Yohannan is a name very popular and familiar among Christians as well as non-Christians today..As many of you already know–he is the founder and president of Gospel for Asia mission, which has been into active evangelisation of people in India, as well as countries like China..where amazing things are happening.
I still remember listening to the “Aathmiya Yathra” radio program by Rev. KP..which was broadcasting every morning..around 5am…and people would just wait for the program..which contained a lot of spiritual exhortations and also prayers for healings!
This was 12 years ago…and the ministry through its radio program itself has brought millions to Christ…Go to a Keralite house, and ask if they ever heard of Athmiya Yathra..and i bet yes would be the response…!
Once when I was back from Church, I remember reading a book which spoke about Rev. KPs spiritual journey, which began with the OM mission group…While he was still a missionary with them..”there were times..when KP would wake up early..clean his seniors and colleagues shoes…and by the time..his inmates wake…they are fully surprised..Nobody for months..knew who was cleaning their shoes and neither did KP reveal it…He humbled, served and loved everyone and everything!”

I dint know, Rev. KP speaks this good..am sure the Americans already must be feeling guilty and sorrowful..of the abundant Gospel they have..and their affluent lifestyle……Am sure you would love these Interesting lines in the video which says “Pray to God to simplify your life ..so your money can be useful to the ministry….You know sister..you dont need a new diamond ring..he (hubby) already loves you……..you have a old car? dont worry..lay your hand on it in Jesus name..and it will run again..”
Yes, ruminating those points one can surely understand the zeal and passion Rev. KP and his ministry possess in sharing the Good News with millions worldwide..specially the South Asian countries, where Christian Preachers are in dire need of financial assistance..
