Microsoft is going to release the updated for Office 2008 for Mac. This is the second service pack update.

Its a free upadte which will be available on Monday from Microsoft’s web site. It is specifially designed to improve speed and stability.

This update improves security. It includes fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code.

In addition, this update readies Office 2008 for Mac for the installation of Microsoft Entourage 2008 for Mac, Web Services Edition, and must be installed before Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition is installed. For more information about this update.

This applies to Office 2008, Office 2008 Home and Student Edition, Office 2008 Special Media Edition, Word 2008, Excel 2008, PowerPoint 2008, Entourage 2008.
